I really like this game overall. It has great graphics and storyline and is actually more in depth then any other Harvest Moon Game I've played. I think its because its not just about how well you do with your farm, but the connections you make with people and how you reach the goal of saving the island. Its like they took the concept of Save the Home Land with the game play of Magical Melodies and tied it in together. I really liked how you live in ancient ruins that you get to explore (xD guess thats where they tied in Rune Factory) rather then just on a plain old farm. Also the fact that theres way more places to explore is amazing! Onto the bad - I hate the stupid bell message thing that feels the need to announce that the bell rang. "The Morning Bell Just Rang" Thank you I think I figured that out from the clock and the bell ringing! The Clock moves way to fast for the amount of map they give you. dont get me wrong the buggy helps and I know you can camp out but if you have a feild full of crops that need to be harvested you have to be home to get them. The Scale Pack thing is just irritating! If your going to put that much free stuff to harvest in the game dont limit the amount you can pick before emptying the sack based on weight! What happened to the good old fashion you can pick 99 and thats it? I also didn't really care for how you dont really even need to bother with your animals since the machines do it all for you. Even though I like how much more to the storyline there is it shouldnt have taken away from the original concept of caring for things on your farm. Which again is probably because there isn't a lot of time on the clock. Overall great game for what it is but it could still stand to be improved upon. I really wouldnt care about any of it besides the bell message thing, that really gets on my nerves.Vollständige Rezension lesen
I like this game for it's indivduality twards the other Harvest Moon games. It also makes you like a lot easier by having technology, I nean, a robot anyone?? The only things I do no like is that you can't get married (I never like when you can't), the characters are lacking, well, character. Its like their just there to give you stuff. And that's how it is, too. Everything you need is either found or just givin to you. Where's the challenge? But if your looking for a twist and a deference like me, I totally recommend.
This is a very time-consuming game, just like all other Harvest Moon titles. There are some notable differences that set this game apart from its predecessors. For one, you don't have to give gifts to the townspeople nor date female characters in order to get married. You're just an android that's gets closer to human status by learning to love and value life. Also, the technology of this futuristic harvest moon is very welcoming... no longer do you have to deal with pesky sprites- now you have a robot that helps with the crops. And there's machinery that helps you ship your products easier- no more waking up early to get the eggs from the chickens, lol, a machine takes care of that - it's awesome!! I love this game!
Enjoyed each of these games, different from most in the series, but fun nonetheless!

I love harvest moon games and this one is no exception. The start out is slow but once you have had the satisfaction of shipping your first batch of veggies you'll be hooked into it. In this game you play as an artificial human created by doctor Hope. You are left at some ruins on Heartfelt Island to manage a farm and help bring an end to the destruction of the island by the volcano sprite.
