It wasn’t easy to use on the vertical posts but was ok on the horizontal rails. They are quite small staples, not as big as I had really wanted. I am going to use it when I recover my dining chair. It will be easier, I hope.

It's sturdy enough and, as a general stapler, probably a match for something from your high street stationer, but not (according to me anyway) properly 'Heavy Duty' as described for use on' Fabric' and 'Furniture. '
