    The item I ordered was listed as NOS and it was exactly that . When I received it the box was in perfect condition as was the box inside containing the item . Shipping was good . Appearance was excellent .The purchase was a good value . I had an issue with the item so I contacted the seller and initiated a return . Communication was excellent and went very smoothly . Everything has been taken care of . Yes I would buy from him again .

    The marker lights arrived on time. It was well packaged and had a low price. It looked like the item listed in the listing. Unfortunately the advertisement had a typo and they were for O gauge not HO. I contacted Trainz and they searched for an HO version but did not have one available. They immediately gave me a refund. Although this transaction did not go as hoped, Trainz was very responsive and has always provided excellent service.

    The item arrived quicker than expected.. Very well packaged and cushioned. The engine condition matched the pictures. It appears to be in very good smooth running order. It had been inspected prior to shipment. Anything needing servicing seem to have been pre-done. Shipping cost were very reasonable. I had a few questions before I purchased it and they responded quickly with answers. I am very happy with the service provided by them throughout the whole process.

    CW-80 Transformer

    You can't beat the simplicity and looks. Easy to hook up and use. Just the right amount of power for a long train (8 or more cars) on an average 8 foot X 4 foot Oval set-up. My brother runs same oval set-up with 6 switch tracks and it's plenty for him too. I've heard they have had problems in the past but the jury is still out on reliability. I have 2 of them and my brother has 1 CW-80 and also the MTH Z4000. No problems to date. Ed Freeport, NY

    Bell and Whistle do not work.

    Received this item fairly quickly which was nice. It came in a shipping box but then the box that the actual transformer itself was in had been cut open prior. That was kind of sketchy. While it does provide a whole lot more power then my original 1978 Lionel transformer, the added Bell, Whistle, and Direction (supposed to change the direction train is traveling I can only assume?) buttons do not work. I paid about $50 less than this item would cost me at my local hobby store, so I guess its a deal, but with those added 'bells and whistles' (literally and figuratively) not working, I can only give it 2 stars.

    Brand new Lionel CW80 Transformer at a great price!

    The CW80 transformer is pristine! It works perfectly, the bell and horn functions work ok, and the direction (forward, neutral, reverse) also work perfectly. Very pleased.

    Very pleased

    I can't tell you how happy my little boy is right now. After buying a second hand Lionel set which is in great condition, the original transformer blew due to our naivety regarding electrical differences between the UK and the US. We bought the correct adapter and the this transformer works perfectly.

    I found the cw-80 to work well with my o gauge trains. The controls were easy to operate.
