This little plastic piece hold the clutc...
This little plastic piece hold the clutch master cylinder push rod in place. A very bad design. Investigate a retrofit with what is called a "heim joint" . This replaces the plastic with a nut, bolt and flexible joint allen keyed the push rod. There are videos on youtube to show how to do this repair. Part didn't work on my linkage.
Bushings should not be made of plastic. When I installed this part it didn't hold the idler shaft lever rod in place. I had to remove the pivot point by grinding the weld on the backside, punching it, out and putting a 3/8" x 1 1/4" in its place. really can not rate this article
the item was shipped in a flat envelope that was lined with bubble wrap. the carrier was usps. the envelope was run through some handling devise which crushed it into about six pieces and left some or the pieces protruding through the envelope.
