The display shows you the Oxygen Saturation in the blood as well as pulse rate. It appears to be very accurate as I use it alongside a blood pressure monitor which also has heart rate/pulse rate also. The great thing is it works on all skin types, only found out lately that historically these devices do not work well on darker skin. This one does.
