Nothing short of fantastic, from start to finish.
I first saw this movie at my local theater, when it came out in 1973. I loved it because two of the actors, who were in "Dirty Harry" two years earlier (John Vernon and Andy Robinson) were also in this film. Walter Matthau and Joe Don Baker were fantastic. Charley Varrick a Classic Matthau movie
Charley Varrick, the last of the independents was a fun journey of a movie. Dated. Lassic well worth watching. Knew cery little almost nothing of its details but glad we got it and wstched it. Very good movie

Long time coming

Clever Caper
One of the best crime/ cat & mouse films. It holds up very well for its' age. The cast is excellent; not a weak link in it. It is beautifully paced and edited. It is , of course, what I would expect from Don Siegel, one of U.S.' best genre filmmakers. Movie To Enjoy The Past!!!
