The Sony SEL18200 Lens features many impressive qualities for photographers shooting at the wide end of the zoom range and working with still images. For instance, this Sony Lens includes a versatile zoom lens with a wide 11x optical zoom range, perfect for a wide range of shooting needs. In addition, the Optical Steadyshot with Active Mode on the Sony SEL18200 Lens allows for a stabilization system to make blur-free stills, but with the inclusion of automatic Active Mode video for stabilization while moving. This is an 18-200 mm f/3.5-6.3 lens with a circular aperture to provide for natural and attractive defocusing in the background. Along with the four aspherical elements providing optical performance, the Sony Lens has a built-in AF motor and aperture that are designed to be quiet and smooth. There are seven circular aperture blades on the 18-200 mm f/3.5-6.3 lens, and a non-rotating focusing ring. Additionally, this lens has an angle of view of 76 to 8 degrees. With the telephoto reaching up to 200 mm, and fast internal focusing, photographers can also use this Sony Lens for wildlife photography and sports or action images.

    The item I received was well packaged, shipped quickly, and their appearance looked to be in almost brand new condition. Great seller communication.     The AED was in working order when it arrived. The only thing is that it did not come with pads and I did not see in the description that pads were not included. I asked for the expiration date of the pads after the order was placed and then was told that there were no pads as stated in the description. I looked again and did not see it in the description, but leaving positive feedback because he was responsive to my requests and I feel like it was a misunderstanding. Shipping was quick.

    Great addition to camera capabilities

    Quality product, easy to use, good sharp pictures. Be advised: it is bigger than the camera and on the heavy side, and seems a bit slow to focus. Because of which it is a bit slower to handle than I would recommend for action shots. I don't use it for action shots, so it is a moot point for me, but it might be important for some others. It could be my personal experience and different for others. Other than this caveat it is a high quality lens and I highly recommend it. There is a variant on this model, the LE version, which is a bit lighter.

    One Must have lense for Sony Alpha Mirrorless

    I personally liked this lens quite a bit. We visited Yellowstone and Glacier national parks recently. I was looking for on lens for wide and zoom, to prevent constant swapping. This lens delivers both and is portable. I just wish it would support more wider angles.

    Pros: it's everything in one. Not swapping lenses as much. Works ok with the a6500. Great for travelers. Large but not too bulky. Cons: f/4 maximum is not ideal in low light. Not as sharp as my 10-18 or my Minolta 50mm. Heavy. That lens creep is very annoying. Not sure if here's a fix for lens creep(when angling the camera downward gravity pulls the zoom downward). Overall happy about having an all in one lens. I definitely wouldn't purchase this at final retail value which goes around 800-900. But $400 is justifiable.

    Sony E-Mount 18-200mm lens

    I'm using this lens on a Sony A6000, mirrorless camera. Its range and sharpness is excellent. Great value at $325. It's now my everyday goto lens.

    Decent consumer-grade lens, if you get a decent one

    I got this lens used, and it isn't particularly clear. It's okay for an entry-level long zoom, but not really much better than the much cheaper standard 55-210 kit zoom lens except for the wider range and a little faster glass. Other reviews indicate that it's better if you get a clearer copy, but obviously not all of them are equally good, especially used.
