Give five because of the price
I was searching a cheap affordable electric violin so I decided to buy this one. The price is crazy. I received it in perfect condition. Must be rated with four stars but the price can help it. This is a cheapy electric violin but it is good enough at the same time, works fine and it has a nice looking. Ok for starting. As I said must be four but I give five stars for usable condition, great price and nice looking.(I played it and it's ok. I'm not a beguinner player. Everything that was suppose to be included was. Arrived in good shape and didn't take too long to receive. It is a cheap violin (glue running down the side of the neck) but we all knew that because of the price. We have a really good violin shop in town that has been handed down through their family. I took it there and they told me they would set it up for me. Told me the bridge was a blank that needed to be carved, notched and seated by hand (they do that to all violins), said the strings were cheap. So he is charging me $40.00-45.00 dollars to carve the bridge and $25.00 for a set of good strings so I said go for it and I also want a spare set of strings. Should be ready tomorrow or the next day. A good price for a professionally set up violin and a good price for the violin, as ... Everything that was suppose to be included was. I've been a violinist for the past 10 years.
So I've used the traditional violin then decided to get an electric violin this was cheaper so I decided to purchase it and it is surprisingly not a bad quality item! For only$60 the defining edges of the paint looks like I could have done it. But I'm not complaining as I got an awesome deal. It sounds good and it stays in tune, witch i love!
