This belt's a perfect fit, not too long or too short.
When measured side-by-side, the belt was a perfect match to the original in my GT5000 tractor. It was also a perfect installed fit to the tractor. The belt is easy to install, just follow the instructions in the owners manual. It will also be helpful if you remove the battery and battery tray, and the left rear tire. There are only two bolts holding the tray and it's removal allows easy access to the bottom of the steering column. Observe if the old belt goes around both sides of the steering column. If it does, just remove the two bolts at the bottom of the column and lift it to replace the belt. Removal of the rear tire helps to route the belt through the transaxle fan blades and onto it's pulley.
