A great trilogy, not too complex but a real page turner!
Having watched the films and realized that I hadn't really seen any of them all the way through I thought I should perhaps read the books and see why they ended up as films in the first place. I am very glad I did as there is something about reading these books that tells you instantly that they were ripe for a film! Well written and real page turners they are not complex books but just make you want to get to the end of each book at get on with the next. I will now watch the films all the way through and will no doubt be able to spot the differences but it will not stop me reading them again pretty soon. So much better than the film !
