Great summer learning
I've been using these books for years at our lake house with the grandkids for the grade they will be entering. 2 pages a day makes for a healthy brain. Helpful Resource
It has a lot of good content for students to hone up on their skills. I wouldn't say it is a complete curriculum resource because it jumps around too much and doesn't focus enough on teaching certain concepts. The social studies section has some good geography maps, etc. but is rather lacking in terms of U.S. History, the foundations of U.S. government which are important topics for 5th grade. Very good to supplement school at home
I've beeen buying these books for my daughter from grade one to now (grade5) I've always been satisfied. However the content of the G 5 book is somewhat below satisfaction. Great workbook for latter elementary students

Great tool for added practice
