T.J. Sullivan returns with another look at life entitled The Sunland Chronicles. These stories are a focused group of tunes of Joy & Desperation written through the eyes of Thelonius James. A year in the making, The Sunland Chronicles enlists the familiar rhythm section of the incredible Phil Bloch and Mark 'Pocket' Goldberg. Phil Bloch lends his considerable talent as a Producer along with Engineer Extraordinaire and Co-Producer, Andrew Bush. Some Heavyweight Talent was brought in to augment this Rootsy Group of Original Tunes. Terry Evans lends his amazing vocal talents along with Veteran Session men Matt Margucci, Jimmy Cox and Dr. Jay Stolmack. There's even a Guest Appearance by the King of Blues & Swing, Sunlands' own Johnny Williamson! All songs are penned by T.J. with the help of fellow writers, Pocket Goldberg & Oscar Jordan on Stuck in the Mud Blues and Chicken Pie respectively. This CD also contains three Instrumentals which add much Color and Depth to the overall feel of the Sessions.
