The product came in without a power cord, but it was not described in the description. The product itself is good. Contacted the seller about the issue and the seller's willingness to compromise and give a free cord. Unfortunately, I need the PSU for a specific date; otherwise, I would take the offer. I'm pleased with the item, and it is as described, but it was shipped in a box that was slightly too small for the hat. Fed-x ground is not gentle with the boxes they ship, and the box was very beat up and partially crushed. The hat's brim was bent up a bit, however I will be able to steam it back into shape. While I'm sure the item was shipped as it looks in the photos, I didn't expect to have to spend time making it look that way again after receiving it. Still giving a positive though.

I received my item quickly and seller was fast to reply and resolve a problem that occurred with some missing and incorrect units. The problem doesn’t seem to have occurred in shipping but was more likely a result of miscounting and not checking if all the units matched. Simple, Effective, Meeting Expectations
The unit I bought was used and in useful shape. Bit dirty/dusty but I would have made it look that way in the first day anyway and it was about 40% of new price. I also bought a set of 48 replacement lines - which you will need. They are 13" long so make sure you get the right ones. My unit came without instructions, no surprise, so I was happy to find there was very little assembly. Base was assembled, body, and hopper complete the parts. Lightweight to carry around to reposition, easily placed on leg stand, no need to secure. Being a string trimmer (think edger) it is going to wear out quickly if you make it deal with wood - clean the twigs and larger out as you go. When line shortens through wear it leaves a big ring of mulch around the inside edges and slows down your progress ... The unit I bought was used and in useful shape. First time or two I removed the circular line mount to replace the line. Then I realized it was really not that awkward to just replace inside the hopper and never go through the difficult removal of the plastic flathead bolt which was getting chewed up. I just used a large cardboard box that happened to fit just inside the width of the legs to catch my mulch. Slide out, slide in. Easier than bagging. About a dozen loads in the top, empty the box around the base of a tree. I've got about three hours on the motor now and showing no signs of fatigue. About another 10 hours to go this season so if anything changes I'll let you know! Wish list - if there was a larger target for dumping leaves in the top - say half a cone that you could attach like a backstop above the hopper - I'd get it. May have to try and come up with a home made version.

Performs good at shredding leaves and is lightweight
Really is nothing more than a weed eater in a bowl. But it does perform well at shredding leaves as stated. However, the leaves must be DRY repeat they must be dry. To get the best performance and longer life of the nylon strings, it is best to pick out the twigs and any tree branches in the leaf pile before scooping up leaves and putting them in the bowl. Found you can shred wet or damp leaves but they stick to everything inside the bowl and wet leaves wear the strings down fast. Do not dump a large amount of dry leaves in the bowl at one time. Instead put about a basketball size or little larger in to allow it to shred them up well. During my work in the yard I was able to use the same strings for over one hour before having to change them out. But you must not be in rush and make ... You also will have to periodically clean out the inside of the bowl ring as shredded leaves and other leaves tend to "stick" to the side of bowl as the strings get shorter and shorter. The plastic band with extremely small wing nuts and bolts to use to hold a bad in place on the stand is not very useful and the extremely small wing nuts are soooooo easy to loose on the ground. I ended up putting the band back in the bag it came in. The weight of the unit does allow you to use a plastic garbage sack and just keep an eye on it and you can fill them up really good without the use of the band. No need to buy the extra cloth bag option just use plastic bags. Definitely took a huge pile of leaves that would have been over a dozen or more bags and reduced down to just about four bags. It is noisy. Wear ear protection. Your neighbors probably will be watching you when you turn this thing on. And ask questions. "What is that?" It is dusty. Wear a simple dust mask. It does work. My next door neighbor already wants to borrow it. I would recommend this for shredding of leaves. Just make sure the leaves are dry and do not let twigs get in if at all possible to have longer string life. If you want shredded leaves in your yard as a natural fertilizer, then just move the shredder around and spread out the pile it makes without a bag on the stand. The only real issue I have had is the sliding on and off switch gets clogged with shredded leaves and becomes harder to turn off the unit. You have to slam it "off" with the palm of your hand.

It will shred some of the leaves. Needs a grate to reduce size of finished product. Any leaves that are swirling around drum will fall into catcher without being shredded. Shredder is too small to shred small limbs.Forget shredding 1" limbs.

Today was the first day I had to use the Worx Leaf mulcher and boy was I impressed. I took piles of leaves which would normally have filled about 3 or 4 bags and wound up with 1/2 bag. Wow! I also like the way it was designed to store. All the pieces fit inside the stand and can fit on the shelf at the end of the season. Great product, especially for those of us who have a lot of trees. The reduced leaves are small enough to spread as mulch so I probably will use a number of bags for that purpose.Today was the first day I had to use the Worx Leaf mulcher and boy was I impressed. Does the job
So much easier to use than my hand held 3-in-1 mulcher, which I could barely lift as the bag got heavier and heavier. The openings at the bottom are pretty large and do let quite a few leaves through without mulching them, but what had taken 4 hours took only an hour with the WORX WG430. The noise level is very tolerable (especially with ear plugs). The cutting strings are very easy to replace. I am very pleased.So much easier to use than my hand held 3-in-1 mulcher, which I could barely lift as the bag got heavier and heavier. The openings at the bottom are pretty large and do let quite a few leaves through without mulching them, but what had taken 4 hours took only an hour with the WORX WG430.
