Dock is terrific; not so sure about "Show Mode"
The dock is great, super solid and sturdy, easy to connect and use. My only concern is that so far I can't get the "show mode" to show much, just a few helpful news and weather tips but a lot of junk like recipes I have no interest in. I think it's my fault for not customizing what items are displayed. I am working on this but it's not easy to fix.

Very nice, but somewhat pricey, Fire HD 8 charging dock.
This is a good quality stand for my Amazon Fire HD 8 (Gen 8!). It is well built and fits the Fire HD 8 perfectly. The only drawback is that at nearly $50, it cost nearly as much as the tablet...

Totally worth it!!!
The case fits perfectly on the tablet adding extra protection. It is super simple to charge it now for it practically pulls itself into the charging position when setting it onto the charging dock. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a hd7 or newer Amazon fire.

This doesn't work
This dock does not stay connected to my Fire 8. It does not keep it charged or initiate show mode. I use it as a stand and plug my tablet into the wall through its' normal charger. I could have done that with a $5 stand.

Must have for and Fire Tablet 8
All original items, individually still in plastic wrap. The box itself was a bit tattered, but you're throwing that away anyways. Great value and shipped quickly!

Excellent Product
Very pleased with this product. It was just as described. The price was reasonable compared to Amazon’s price. It was an “open box” item but is new.

Great unit
Less expensive than buying a portal or show, as you can also carry the tablet with you. Makes the tablet more versitable to also carry anywhere you want.
