    A great game for those looking for something familiar, yet different.

    I do love the King of Fighters series. It’s always seemed like a “B level” popular game that doesn’t rival Street Fighter in sales, but easily competes in quality level. King of Fighters XV is no exception. KOF has been in the 2.5-D style for a while now. I do miss the old sprites, but can’t deny that these characters look gorgeous in rendered 3-D. If you’ve played this series, then you already know what to expect. If not, you can play one on one against the computer or an opponent, both online and couch versus. This isn’t going to break any new ground as it offers the same types of modes and training as do other current fighters. What is here is fun and compelling gameplay with that SNK quality and charm.
