    Pukka kit, easy to fit, works really well.

    Pukka Nextbase kit (I checked with Nextbase). In fact one sent was the later DA-206A-HW (rather than the older DA5-HW that the listing image shows) and Nextbase confirmed this was genuine (as the box still had an image of DA5-HW and Nextbase confirmed that they had not updated the packaging yet). Easy to fit on my CLIO III. Sited the dashcam just to left of rearview mirror, took flex across top of screen (just tucked under roof lining) to drivers door post, round the post to the rubber on the inside of the door frame (and slid it under the rubber down to a level at the bottom of the plastic cowling under the dashboard), then along the bottom of the cowling to the fusebox (using three small cable ties to secure the flex to the holes already in the edge of the cowling). Most difficult part was finding a suitable metal point to attach the negative lead to. In the end put a bolt through a meatl bracket on the left of the clutch pedal). Worked a treat. Worth downloading the full manual from Nextbase site (and updating firmware if necessary - but mine was already the latest). Plus is a doddle to use.

    Superb product which is easy to install in 20-30 minutes

    Very easy to follow instructions meant that this hardwire kit really was quick & simple to install. All parts required were in the box including both of the main types of fuse that you expect to find in a modern car. I expect that some vehicles are harder to fit than others but it only took me about 20 minutes to do my Audi A3. Just take the time to read the instructions properly without skipping bits and you will do just fine.

    Convenient for hard wiring dash cam.

    Well made and long cable length. Clear instructions, except nothing on admittedly obvious requirement to connect to a good ground connection. Fitted without difficulty, only slight problem finding a convenient ground point. In my case had to use connection close to power point near handbrake, so it was good that the cable was long enough for my medium sized car

    Works well, no disconnection as with 12v cig connecter.

    All parts provided for installation. Straightforward enough to fit depending on car, VW T Cross only short lengths of cable left exposed. Don’t notice them in day to day use.

    Nextbase dash cam hard wire kit

    I'm no expert on fitting things but this item I found easy to install, the kit comes with small fuse conector and the standard size, when I ordered it I didn't check to see what type my car had, so that's good . The hardest part would probably be to fit the earth but I was lucky again as there was a place next to where it all fits. If you don't use your 12v plug then you won't really need this but I do use mine so it frees up that, also keeps things looking normal. This took me less than 30 mins to install. It's on YouTube that helps. I'VE only got a small car and you get loads of wire left over to tuck away. This item is good quality well worth the money.

    Fixed wiring for dashcam

    Very easy to fit, with good instructions supplied. The recent purchase was for a replacement kit that had been fitted for about 18 months. All of a sudden warning appeared on screen saying not connected to power supply. I checked the output from the transformer and it was less than a volt, found another fitting kit on line, swapped out the transformer and it works again. On the whole happy with the kit, but would have expected it to last longer.

    Slight Inconvenience

    The "piggy-back" fuse adaptors were supplied in two sizes,neither of which fitted my car which has "micro 2" fuse board so I had to source and purchase both an adaptor and fuses to fit.

    Good kit, well thought out.

    Hardest bit was finding the fuse diagram online for our VW. A-pillar trim removal allowed easy access. Recommended using a plastic tool to get trim off without scratching car.

    Neat wiring solution for dashcam

    I bought two for both our family vehicles. Very neat with all wiring tucked away out of sight. Ease of installation depends on your vehicle. One took me about an hour the other half a day. Be warned, if you have a recent high spec keyless start vehicle that monitors all electrical systems constantly, the power to camera will not shut off after stopping engine and locking vehicle. You will have to switch off camera manually each time. I've tried piggy backing every suitable fuse in the box but not been able to overcome this problem.

    Easy to install . Value for money

    I used cable came with camera but that sometime work from 12v socket But After i installed this cable I have peace of mind as camera start automatically when I switch on ignition key and also turned off as ignition key is turned off Very easy to install. No professional required Saved money by installing myself Very good product
