Best Timer Ever
Replaced a Woodland timer from Menards that didn't work right out of the box. Unsure of my wiring as soon as I plugged this one up everything worked! Very high over all quality, multi functional screen with very easy intuitive programming and Astronomical clock! Even a battery backup nails the fact that this product was well thought out for its designed purpose. Retails for around 30$ but worth much more for the features its loaded with!

It works well, with a minor complaint.
I read numerous reviews and instruction manuals for various timers on Home Depot's web site before buying. It installs easily (if you have the room in the junction box) and works well. The only complaint I have is the "on" icon is in the upper left corner, so I have to stoop over to see if the light is on / off (we cannot see the outside light from the switch). I measured the current draw when the unit was "off", and it was only 0.01 amps (below the meter's resolution) so it takes very little power while off. The switch contains a physical relay that clicks when it turns on and off - this is a good thing because it means that even very low wattage LED's work great with this switch (our old timer switch let some power "bleed through", so the lights were always on!)

An excellent set it and forget it timer
A perfect timer for controlling your door/garage/post lights year round. We set ours to come on at dusk and turn off at 1:00 AM and never have to touch it again. It follows daylight standard time changes, and knows when the sun sets and rises every day based on your input latitude and longitude. There is a simple touch on-off if you ever need to use your lights manually. A great product.

Leviton Timer
Timer had all the features that I was wanting. Programming was not too difficult. I have always been satisfied with quality of Leviton switches.

Does a good job
I had a bit of trouble programming it. The instructions were vague on input. I was programing each event lites on, lites off in separate programs, what I learned is tell it sun down and click set button then hit the button again until it says sun down. That's one cycle and unless you want additional times go to setting 2 otherwise 1 setting is enough. It works like a charm, you can look up your lat/long on your google search. This even allows for Daylight savings time.

Sliced Bread's second comming!
I had to scan the teeny-tiny print instructions & blow them up to read, but once I could read them they were easy to follow. The timer is DEEP, so one needs a really deep deep box or a deep one that that has something shallow next to it that the wires can be tucked behind. The wires are stranded & didn't work well with wire-nuts to my existing solid wiring so I got my soldering iron out & turned them into sorta solid wires & that worked. It comes with three different color switch covers, white, ivory, and light almond, so if Mom wants to change all the face-plates, switches, & outlets to a new color, for this timer, you already got the new color! I strongly suspect Leviton did it for logistics; one low volume part vs three extremely low volume parts. If one gets a special second switch, it supports two-way switch operation; I didn't. Longitude & Latitude go in in degrees, no tenths, minutes or seconds. There are lots of programming options, up to 50/day & different for different days or weekdays & weekends, but my needs were simple... I set it to turn the porch & driveway lights on at sunset & off at sunrise & it's very close, so not having tenths, minutes, or seconds apparently isn't a big deal. & it has some sort of built-in not-user-replaceable battery, so if the power goes out, it keeps track of the time. Five year return to Leviton limited warranty. I like it & the title says it all!

Timer with daylight savings built in
I needed to watch the videos to understand how to set up the timer, but it works great, and adjusts to daylight savings time automatically is a bonus feature.

Works Good
This switch is easy to instal. My biggest problem was with programming. The screen is very small and there are a lot of steps to follow to get it programmed . Once everything was set-up I'm happy. Be patient when you program it.

Set it and forget it.
I just set it for a light from dust to dawn and love it. With some extra feature that goes with it.

Works like a champ!
I've had this unit in my house for almost 10years and it works like a champ. I liked it so much that I bought several more for other properties to "automate" lights and add security. Wiring requires some knowledge about your electric and shutting off at the panel. Once you figure it out it's not bad. You will need to buy a faceplate after upgrade.
