    I ordered this item listed as “ex display — still works, slight wear.” It arrived in a completely destroyed box and the mains plug was missing one prong, making the item unsafe to use. I messaged the seller to which he replied rude and defensive, sent an image of any plug saying this is how it was sent and to return it in such condition, I’m not going to return an item in better condition than I received it. This seller needs looking into and people skills. Would NEVER buy from this seller 🚨🚨

    Great hob for small homes or as an extra.

    The first impressions of this induction hob is very good, it has a nice glass surface which is easy to clean and wipe over. The rest of the hob is plastic but of a decent quality which I presume to be quite resilient to general kitchen use. I like the various functions which are useful if you use a stove top kettle for instance (it can be set to boil water and switch off when it's done) and I look forwards to trying some of the other features. Unlike some other cheaper hobs this one is capable of measuring the temperature of the hot plate meaning there isn't any guess work or risk of things over heating. Some others simply heat for a pre set time. When in use of the things which struck me was that it is quite noisy as the cooling fan runs. However this isn't too much of an issue if you ...

    Tefal Portable Induction hob

    I'm planning a new kitchen and I was looking at induction hobs but have never used one. I spotted this one at the rediculously low price of about £35 so I thought it's worth that just to try it out. I'm very impressed with this mini hob. At maximum heat it is very fast and minimum is low enough for gentle cooking. After use the ring is warm (conduction from the pan), it can be touched without getting burnt, but it is a bit uncomfortable if contact is maintained. Any splashes clean very easily. The hob has settings for different types of cooking although I have not used them all so I can't say if they work well or not. Amazing value induction hob.

    1st Tefal IH experience

    Compared with other brands, Tefal makes a louder buzz at top power. Power ranges from P1-P9, where P3 gives the constant heating, other brands have power from 200W to 2200W where 1000W gives the constant heating, for finer controls of power at lower temperatures Tefal has less to offer (i.e. P1, P2 only). This product works fine otherwise

    Excellent product.

    I bought this as it came out so well in all reviews of induction hobs. I'm considering changing my gas hob and this seemed a good way of trialling it. I love it. I use it every day. I'm not sure I need to change hob as it gives me my 5th ring for a really good price. ( Didn't want to cut granite to accommodate bigger hob.) It boils water more quickly than my kettle and has a lower simmer than modern gas hobs. It's easy to clean. Worth every one of its 5 stars and best buy awards.

    Try before you buy!

    I got this to see how easy it is to use induction heat and how it cooks before I invest in a full blown induction hob, its great heats up fast obvs it takes time to get used to it, I am used to gas, but this is so easy to clean and I will upgrade to induction heat cooking in the near future.
