Awesome DVD set
Since I only just got this, I have only done 4 days of the 30 day workout, but so far I must say that I absolutely love it! I am 53 years old, in fairly good shape, but have had many different physical issues. Her exercise routines do not seem to aggravate any of my issues (mainly back, neck and sciatica) and in fact, I feel much better after doing a DVD! I used to do Jillian Michaels 30 minute shred, but came to a place in life where that no longer agreed with my body. These workouts go by very fast and I am not bored, it keeps me engaged the whole 30 minutes. I know others have complained that the intense part is only 20 minutes, with a 5 minute warm-up and 5 minute cool-down, but it works for me (do 2 workouts if you need more!). I have done other walking workouts like Leslie Sansone, but these are more difficult and have a much better variety of exercises than Leslie's. Also, I do not at all find Jessica's comments to be irritating as I often found Leslie's. Jessica is able to instruct and encourage in a very calm, neutral way that is pleasant (much like Ellen Barrett). If you are looking for crazy high intensity, these are not for you. If you are looking for a well balanced routine, that incorporates strength, core and cardio in a more mild-moderate intensity, these DVDs are for you. She does have 3 people exercising with her, her mom Debbie, does the easiest, then she has another lady and often herself, doing the more intense modification. I have purchased many, many exercise videos over the years, all the way back to Jane Fonda and Joanie Greggains, but these DVD's are by far my favorite. Try them, you will not be disappointed!
