This switch is spring loaded to go one way and return. I might be missing something here unless you switch it once to turn on and again to shut off. I haven't removed my old one to see what the connection pattern is like . I will wait for a reply .Thanks Kurt

It all lies on USPS. They kept shipping it from warehouse to warehouse and some in the same state and then they would hold it for a couple of days and ship it some where else.
