    Sigma wide angle lens

    great little sigma lens. perfect for taking photos of large items at close range and ideal for taking photos of all types of transport in museums. well pleased.Easy to use . Perfect addition to lens range.

    Sharp as a tack

    At f11 the depth of field is from around 1.5mtrs out to infinity with a usable 1/250th at dawn and dusk. Although the auto focus is extremely accurate it's not the fastest focus in the world but this lens is used for wide vistas and interiors with a tripod on manual focus so a moderate focussing speed if not an issue. I needed a lens to leave at our holiday apartment but it now lives I my camera bag full time. I'm a little annoyed as this lens is a sharp as my Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 ED which cost me nearly 600 quid although the focus is noticeably faster. Being very critical I'd say that the sigma has a touch more barrel distortion at 10mm than the Nikon but a simple click in Lightroom eliminates it. I use this lens on one of my D7200's, if you are looking for a wide lens for a DX ...

    The lens works, even if it has cosmetic defects.

    Like other Sigma 10-20 f4-5,6 lenses, this sample has an amazing sharpness on f5,6. Yes, it was sold as spare parts and it has traces of use (a slightly broken thread for the lens hood), but it works. And the description is correct. Let him have cosmetic defects. The lens works, performs its tasks.

    Excellent lens

    Everything I was wanting in one neat purchase. This lens gives very sharp images throughout its range. It’s rather large compared to the kit lens but I guess that’s inevitable for very wide angle. Extremely pleased with it.
