Still Freaky all these years
Great art stands the test of time--"Freak Out" covers widely ranging genres of music, electronic to doo-wop to topical songs, such as "Trouble Everyday", Of course, always filtered through Zappa's rather sarcastic sense of humor. But there is also some tasty guitar here and there. Maybe some avant garde classsical and free-form jazz just to keep it all slightly surreal. Still on of my favorite Mothers albums, fifty years and counting,

A slim glimpse of a far past time that still reverberates and resonates with current situations-so in memory of Frank Zappa's genius-not forgetting his many flaws of not transcending the programming his cultural upbringing had manifested in-was still an eye-opener. Though if you are only going to make one Zappa derived purchase would recommend We're Only In For The Money instead-i put forth this purchase recommendation. Classic Zappa!

For discriminating taste only,not for novices, these are not necessarily for simple tastes, some fillers, but some were pretty good.buyer be aware Frank Zappa can be outrageous.
