Hogue Monogrip
These grips are great for four reasons. First, they are narrower than the original wooden target stock on the S&W 29's and model 66. This helps shooters like myself with a smaller hand. Contoured for fingers and textured for a better grip makes a huge difference in recoil. Third, I believe there's at least a 10% reduction in recoil due to the rubber material, and 4th, your original stock can be stored away and kept new to be put back on for resale. Yes, wood is pretty, and I like it, but the Monogrip by Hogue takes punishment better and for me feels better while preserving the wooden grips. For the price I think it's worth it to try and see if they fit you better.

My Favorite Grip
The Hogue Mono-Grip is my favorite and they are in ALL of my revolvers. I'm no pro but I shoot competitively monthly and what I love the most if the actual Grip factor. They're not to slippery nor are type too tacky. They allow quick moon clip change like wood do and your clothes do not "stick" to it in a carry situation. When drawing from a holster I have the confidence the gun won't end up on the ground because my hand slipped off a smooth and hard surface. Highly recommend....

Get a grip! That may give you better control
The grips that came on my 41 magnum felt a little small for my hand. I felt like I had to squeeze too hard, which can make accuracy suffer. For me, personally, these grips are perfect & make controlling long revolvers much easier, especially when shooting double action.

Ergonomicaly perfect
The rubber Hogue Monogrip takes the sting out of heavy recoiling revolvers making followup shots easier to make. The finger grooves aid in consistent hand placement. They may not be the best looking grip but are among the best for using.

Great grips from a great company!
In comparison to the standard S&W wood grips, the Hogue rubber grip helps mitigate recoil when firing standard and hot .41 mag rounds, makes shooting more enjoyable all around.

Great new feel
the pistol was bought with some over sized competition grips that had an a wierd feel. these Hogue grips completely changed how the gun felt in my hands and made it nicer to shoot. Installation was quick and easy and fit perfectly!!

Utter comfort and increased reach with Hogue revolver grips S&W N- frame
Hogue grips are great quality and provides a sturdy and firm "grip on things", or your revolver to be exact. Sender design give the shooter an increased reach and better "connection" between trigger and trigger-finger than bulkier grips of other makers/ other Hogue- modell. This reach is especially welcome on large-frane revolvers such as the S&W N-frame.

Hogue 41 mag Grips
I put these non a buddies s&w model 57 in 41 mag. They fit to tee and improved the appearance on his well used revolver. He was surprised at how goodl the grips looked and the support and comfort they provided for gripping the big revolver. He really likes them. Bob C.

Comfortable grip, easy to install.
Comfortable grips that really tame my Mod. 629's recoil, no more middle finger hitting the trigger guard! Easy to install, good looking grips, that won't break the bank!

Works great, glad I bought them.
Great product. I am now able to use my model 29 again. The older I got the more it hurt. With these grips recoil is absorbed and my hand is protected. It's like magic:)
