I had the transmission rebuilt anyways using the new parts (transmission still worked before rebuild but jerked) transmission didn't last 5 minutes. Had it tore down again just to find all the friction plates worn flat and the gears burnt. Rebuild was done to a T even soaking the plates and gears in transmission fluid. 2 months and another transmission later my truck is finally back.
