    Good book but not cheap.

    I have several previous editions. They were costly. There is so much of the content that is merely a copy of previous editions. I wish that the contents could be marketed by separate chapters or by subject. This is a great book for builders. It is loaded with accurate and up-to-date information and it would also be a great reference source for repair shops.

    Should be required reading for all computer people.

    There is no better book on the market today. Too bad that they haven't updated it in the last five years.

    Geekbook

    These books are necessary as everything improves in the technology field. It's called Moore's Law. I purchased this to be somewhat up to date on the Intel I series chipsets. It becomes easier to mix & match components when building a decent computer as compared to buying overinflated commercially available products.

    Just what every computer shop needs

    You can't be without this book. Comes with a CD with past books on it also. So much info to help a person doing computer work. Yes a bit costly but well worth the price.
