Bomberman returns to the Game Boy Advance in a follow-up to the two Bomberman MAX titles released on Game Boy Color. In this Blue Advance version, players once again control Hudson Soft's bomb-tossing spaceman as they journey across 80 maze-like environments filled with enemies and destructible barriers. <br><br>Each level is timed and has a specific objective, such as destroying all enemies on the screen or eliminating barriers within a certain timeframe. To complete their objective, players will position bombs at key areas within the maze so enemies or barriers will be caught in the line of fire. Once the objective is complete, warp gates will be revealed to take Bomberman to a new stage.<br><br>The storyline involves an evil being known as Mujoe, who has shrunk Bomberman and his friend Max down to roughly the size of an ant. To regain their size, Bomberman and Max must destroy Mujoe's Mini-Mini Device, which means traversing all 80 stages until the final confrontation with Mujoe himself. The levels are spread across five themed regions, each ending in a battle with a boss character: Garden, Library, Dining Room, Toolshop, and Lab. <br><br>In order to save the galaxy, players will need to access an additional 20 stages of play by linking the game with Bomberman MAX 2: Red Advance or vice versa. Other version-specific features include specific types of Charaboms to raise and breed. Players can find Ceedrun, Pteradon, Kai-man, Pommy, Beast Pommy, and ToughGuy in the Blue Advance version, then build them up to fight in the separate Battle Mode with power-ups found in the main game. Two players can participate in Battle Mode using a single cartridge and a Game Link Cable.Product Identifiers

A Blast to Play!
Bomberman Max 2 Blue Advance is a great game that I had fun playing. You can even link up the game with the Red version for the ultimate adventure. Graphics are great and the music is amazing.
