Synopsis
Victor Hugo's epic masterpiece is retold and illustrated by Marcia Williams in her signature comic-book style. Travel back to nineteenth-century France with ex-convict Jean Valjean as he tries to put his criminal past behind him and his fate intertwines with the ruthless Inspector Javert, determined to put Valjean back behind bars; the poor factory worker Fantine, whose struggle to provide for her child leads to her death; her orphaned daughter, Cosette, whom Valjean saves from poverty and neglect; and Cosette's besotted suitor, Marius. As a revolution sweeps through Paris, can Valjean elude Javert and secure a happy life for Cosette before all is lost? Follow their story in Marcia Williams's entertaining and easily digestible retelling for young readers.

- 5***a (0)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufEverything came as promised and the books are in good condition. There was some issues with the tracking number, but they were good about communicating with me on it when I reached out. The second package showed up on my door step unexpectedly after 5PM that day. I would buy from this seller again.
- i***n (932)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letztes JahrBestätigter KaufI was back and forth on neutral or positive feedback. Seller does not respond to messages. Books dust jacket was in far worse condition than shown in the pictures could have been because how it was packaged. While it was shipped promptly, the package was a simple bubble mailer. For collectible books such as this, I’d expect it in a box. I ship books with media mail too and it doesn’t cost any more to use a box instead of plastic mailers. Book did arrive though and the pricing was reasonable.Fairyloot The Forest Grimm by Kathryn Purdie Exclusive Edition Digital Signature (Nr. 176931227352)
