This lens cover is just soft enough to hug the lens so not hard plastic, but thick enough to protect the rear of the lens when it's not on the camera. Cap was shipped quickly and arrived by a private courier (apple Express) to British Columbia almost two weeks before the shipping arrival estimate. Seller is quick to respond to questions and is an asset to Ebay, and to photography buffs. Thanks! I'll be a returning customer!
