Dresden Files just get better!!
I purchased this book because I'm an immense Jim Butcher fan. I love the Dresden Files the way other people love Harry Potter. I see great similarities in both stories. I always recommend the Dresden books to other people as being an American adult version of the aforementioned series and thus far everyone has loved what they've read, just as I have. The new edition of Dresden is hilarious, fresh, with the fabulous sarcasm that Harry Dresden is known for. He's the hero that doesn't want to be a hero, and its not about modesty. Each character is a refreshing spin on things, and I kind of like the idea of Harry's new romantic interest. Simply put, this book is fabulous. This was very well packaged. It is a Christmas gift for someone who wants theButcher books hard cover, first edition and signed. I think it will be fine.

Not an actual 1st edition. It is a hardcover book published in 2008, when the book first came out. Misleading description & mediocre product. Still readable, just not an actual 1st edition.

It was the last of the Harry Dresden novels and I did not have it. Anyone who has read all but one of a series of books and really enjoyed them all know what a powerful pull that creates. I had looked in all the local bookstores for it and could not find it and there it was on sale in Ebay. I was able to get it for about the same as the paperback would cost when it came out in paperback but this was the hardback. To make a novel into a short story I bid, I won, I got it and then I read it. Now I am hoping he writes another one as it is an excellent fantasy / mystery storyline, full of interesting characters, overlapping plots that still stand on their own and a consistent world setting.It was the last of the Harry Dresden novels and I did not have it.
