      WOW! I'm not one to be easily impressed, these folks though, wow! Shipping was lightning quick, the product was exactly as described, and... when I found some damage, and mind you it was packaged very well, but obviously they can't control the shipping environment. So when I contacted them about the issue, they immediately sent a replacement, which also arrived with lightning speed! I can't say enough good things about this seller. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again! Great work!

      requisite for chickens in cold climates

      my first one of these heated poultry water fountains lasted seven years of new england winters! it never failed to keep the water from freezing in any temperature, some nights well below zero. the only reason i have had to order a second one to replace is that i dropped it, full, and broke the top. no trudging tout in the cold to keep fresh water melted, no worries about fires, i cannot recommend this product enough!

      Difficult to use

      When I'm out filling the water container it is very cold and wet so the bottom of the water comes off very easy with water spilling everywhere. Now I turn it over and fill from the bottom. Tricky to pour water into the small hole in the bottom. A better design would be to open from the top.

      Got soaked

      This thing is junk dont waste your money, very messy to refill and hang. Lose most your water before you get it rehung and gotta clean up the spillage every time. Dont buy!!

      Poor Quality

      After a month the waterer itself is okay so far, the cheap plastic handle that it hangs by broke the first 20 degree morning. I had to make a new hanging handle out of heavy gauge wire, some things should not be made of plastic. The heater part seems to work okay, so far. It seems like the fill hole should be on the top, not to sure of the design of it being on the bottom with a rubber plug, I would think over time the plug would weaken and fall out from the pressure of 3 gallons of water in it. We'll see.

      Sturdy item with thick safe cord.

      The Farm Innovators HPF-100 Heated 3 Gal Plastic Hanging Poultry Water Fountain is a wonderful item for every chicken. The water stays nice and warm. The design helps to keep debris out of the water and discourages the chickens from trying to sit on it. The plastic of the item is nice and sturdy and has the thickness to last a good few years.
