NotesI grew up in the church as a preachers kid. That meant Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday evening and attending anything else in between that came up. Singing was an important part of our worship. Somewhere along the way the Lord started giving me new melodies for the hymns that I grew up singing as a child and I've found that it has given the truth embedded in the old songs new life. This album is a blend of some of those old hymns put to new music as well as several poems from the devotional 'Streams in the Desert' by L. B. Cowman. I've had my nose in it for years and the poems were begging for melody.
