Bethesda Softworks' post-apocalyptic open-world RPG returns with a new setting, an enhanced crafting system, and thousands of lines of dialogue in Fallout 4. The action takes place in and around Boston roughly 200 years after a nuclear holocaust, with gamers assuming the role of the last survivor of a large fallout shelter known as Vault 111. Upon emerging from their shelter, players confront a devastated landscape where various factions battle for control of small settlements, and the wilderness teems with dangerous creatures, violent robots, mutated monsters, and deadly radiation.<br><br>Gamers begin by creating their character, choosing from either a male or female vault survivor, and then customizing seven different S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills. They are then free to roam the entire landscape as they please, meeting a variety of interesting characters, completing tasks, collecting bottle caps as currency, and acquiring useful items and weapons. Players can choose to interact with the world from a first- or third-person perspective, and combat once again mixes real-time action with turn-based elements in the form of the V.A.T.S. system, which lets gamers use action points to slow time and target specific areas of a foe's body. Fallout 4 introduces the ability to automatically perform critical hits, followed by a cooldown period, and for the first time in a Bethesda game, the player character can speak. Gamers can also collect materials to build their own settlements, complete with water, electricity, vegetation, outside vendors, and security measures.

    Bought a monitor from them and it came very quickly and came pretty much exactly as described. They marked it as “like new” and I was skeptical initially but when I opened it up it was what I would call like new. Great value for the monitor as well and when it arrived it looked great. I turned it on and it worked completely great! Would definitely recommend this seller. Also it came in packaged very well and safe honestly they did everything in their power to keep the monitor is great condition.

    Next gen Fallout!

    Fallout 4, the latest iteration in the Fallout series, is definitely next gen Fallout. Graphics, gameplay and AI all are superior to Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Unlike FO3 and NV that consist of mostly drab, monochromatic hues, FO 4 bursts with color. The sky is a brilliant blue, giant buildings stand out in reds and oranges and foliage coloration is varied. Except for the NPCs - the one Achilles heel in Fallout 4's visuals - the graphics are beautiful. Water looks particularly nice. Weather is also rendered well with fog, mist, rain and forbidding thunderstorms, that can be dangerous when a radiation storm rolls through! AI is smarter, NPCs use cover well, flanking your player with the usual verbal barbs thrown in. Unlike FO 3 and NV, enemies are not detected long distances away (giving ...

    Great game - still some bugs

    An excellent follow up to Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The new Boston locale is a terrific choice. Game play is very immersive- it can take a while to learn how to craft/modify items but once you get the hang of it, you can easily get lost for hours at a time just exploring and acquiring quests. Sometimes it is really cool to read about the quests in wiki just to get more background into the characters. The only downside to the game is that settlements require lots of attention and building items to keep them happy. Kinda wish they could be setup and forget 'em. Otherwise, game physics and mechanics are excellent. VATS targeting is very satisfying. And once you get a favorite weapon modded to your liking, it remains a go-to for pretty much most of the game.     Great game!

    I loved this game on PS4 so much that I bought a new computer to play the PC version and explore the wide world of mods. This game plays well and the graphics are fantastic. Typical Bethesda game so there are a few glitches or bugs in the game, but those have almost been patched out. It is worth the purchase in my opinion. The open world and countless quests along with the main storyline give you hours upon hours of gameplay.

    Fallout 4 Best game well...ever

    Our whole family loves to play this game it captures soo many game playing styles that their is literally something for everyone. It is a find it, build it, shoot it, your only limited to your own imagination. Thanks Bethesda for finally putting a game like this together.
