Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance offers a decidedly console-styled take on Black Isle's AD&D-based Baldur's Gate series. Though the game features the same basic isometric third-person perspective as its acclaimed predecessors on the PC, its gameplay is designed to offer a steady flow of "hack and slash" dungeon-crawling action. While a good story is important to any worthwhile role-playing adventure, the player may become more immediately involved with the particulars of the single Player Character in BG: Dark Alliance, as the solitary plotline removes some of the (otherwise welcome) distractions of group interaction and party management. Early 2000's RPG Nostalgia in a Bite Size Package

A little dated but a classic none the less!
