Styx at their best
As an Australian, I never got to hear Styx much on radio until the late 70's when they had a hit with 'Babe' (not one of my favorites). They never received much airplay here at any time. When I first heard 'Fooling Yourself' as a film clip on TV I was a commited fan. I was also a huge Queen fan at the time. They were the only band that I thought could match Queen with the combination of heavy guitar, sensational vocals and, something different, loud heavy keyboards. This is one of the last concerts that they performed with all possible main members still in the line up. I believe they were one of the best bands in the world at their top. This DVD highlights all their best hits and they are all performed magnificently. Vocally they were just brilliant and with Dennis DeYoungs awesome keyboards, Tommy Shaw & James Youngs massive guitar work, Chuck Panozzo & Todd Sucherman unbelievable on bass & drums, it is just a brilliant concert.
