This is a landmark film for race lovers.
It's a first and last in many ways. New filming technology was used on board the cars, and much actual race footage was used. This was never before approved for a movie. Garner does his own driving and stunts very respectably. Plot is fairly simple, but the characters hold it together. They are real, not excusing who they are. Great race movie
