Brand new Hyundai key remote
This remote is a perfect replacement for my old broken remote. It is brand new, with a battery. The only difficulty I had was pairing it with my car. Not a fault with the remote, but with the car. Had to flip a recessed slide switch in the car to program it (it was on the side of the control box, and I had to go only by feel). Once set, the programming worked like a charm. Programing is Essential
Some websites said to leave the key in and on when programing. That did not work on my 02 Elantra. Make sure Key is out of ignition when programing. Remove the tape off the side of the ETACS, or push through it like I did with a small hook, and put the ETACS switch to Set. Push the Lock button on the remote, then move the switch from Set to Off. ETACS sets behind ashtray, that's why you have to remove the fascia. Switch is on the passenger side under the clear tape. Key fob
