It is a battle of Imperial soldiers against the Rebel forces. This action-packed multiplayer video game allows you to immerse yourself in the Star Wars movie series. The environments are plucked straight from the film so if you ever wanted to play Luke Skywalker, this is the game for you. While this game is similar to the original Battlefront, it makes technological improvements, which allows for advanced gameplay. Use the mission map to guide you on your quest. Along the way, you can board a fighter to battle the enemy or climb on a capital ship. This game took into consideration fans’ requests to introduce the Jedi characters in the sequel. Online PS2 gameplay supports 24 players.

    Don’t make em anymore

    The new Star Wars battlefront 2 uses the proven favorite pay-to-win system. No hunt mode, most features aren’t local co-op, but I’m here to talk about the original. This game is from a less greedy time and seems to use the philosophy that if your company makes large, group play, and most importantly fun games, costumers will keep coming back. This doesn’t work if one game is WAY better than the rest, in this case not just of the series but the genre entirely. This game is very much limited by the hardware, but you can’t feel it. Space battles feel truly epic, galactic conquest feels like a soldier bulging an empire, and hunt makes for hilarious couch conversation.     Everything he expected

    I have not played the game, but my 11 year old, who was 1 year old when the game came out, loves it. He plays WiiU games at home, and other platforms at friends' homes, so I was surprised when he wanted this game for his brothers' old PlayStation2. He is a Star Wars fan, and that is part of the allure, I'm sure.

    "The game that spawned a generation of memes."

    Didn't need to be MIB due to intent to play. Started right up once disc was put in and power was on. Works great with both Standard, Slim model PS2 as well as PS3. Was able to use with both my CRT tv as well as my LCD monitor. Ultimately,... 10/10 would continue to watch out for those wrist rockets.

    Great game lots of fun

    Very good game lots of fun and I'm a big star wars fan it's really cool how it immerses you in the star wars universe as a clone, stormtrooper, droid, or rebel in full blow warfare and the fact that you can play as heroes or villains as well makes even better 10/10 in my book. Also for $8, I couldn't beat that.

    Nostalgic, Cinematic, and a Classic!

    For PS2, the graphics are pretty good, but this is seriously one of the best games ever made for PS2. The campaign is so fun and the arcade mode let's you play at so many locations! The Starfighter battles are great, especially since you can actually takeoff and land in capital ships!
