On my "Favorites" list
Regarding Kelley's Heroes, it's a good, engaging WW2 comedy/drama with an all-star cast of frontline soldiers who decide to use their 3-day R&R break to try and hijack a shipment of gold held in a bank behind enemy lines. Nit-pickers won't like the out of place and time pseudo-hippie Sutherland, or the unlikelihood of any number of scenes, but the rest of us will thoroughly enjoy rooting for everyone to make it through the crazy ride to see if they can make it happen. Great movies that are war classics
Great acting by Clint Eastwood as usual. Excellent video quality in Blu Ray from two classic war films from the 70's and 80's. Eastwood plays Kelly, a wonderful leader of several soldiers or 'heroes' who engage the Germans in a humorous drama. 'Where Eagles Dare' one of the best WWII movies filmed, with great suspense, action and bravery. Eastwood and Richard Burton put on outstanding performances. Highly recommended. 2 great movies at 1 low price
Two of Clint Eastwood's best WWII movies for one low price. The on location scenery of Where Eagles Dare is spectacular. Richard Burton is a big plus. Good plot - poor restoration
