With this Ubisoft game, you complete mini-games to burn calories and build muscles. You can track your calories burned and analyze your results in the 4-week Quest Mode where you can focus on either strength or cardio exercises. You’ll want to come back every day to meet your objectives and complete the storyline. "Shape Up" combines classic gaming motivational tools with enjoyable workouts to help you stick to your exercise plans.“Shape Up” offers fitness benchmarks in the form of 90-second Quick Play challenges to increase your endurance and strength in your core and upper body. You can do pushups with elephants, squat your way to the moon, and use your abdominal muscles to destroy aliens. Have fun and earn points instead of counting reps so that you'll be motivated to keep going instead of waiting for your workout to be over. As you repeat these games over time, you can measure your progress and watch yourself improve. You can even compete against your former performances to go for a new high score. With Xbox Live, you can record your full workouts or challenge friends to add a competitive edge to your experience. You can access the online community to download custom quests to your Xbox and make an accompanying meal plan. Once you've mastered the default mini-games, you can get the season pass add-on. This extra content gives you new games, new characters, and new workout routines.This fitness-related Kinect game takes advantage of the camera's features. It uses the Kinect's peripheral abilities to gauge how many calories you are burning and measure your heart rate by monitoring how flushed your skin is. The full-body tracking mode lets you see yourself on the television screen so that you get instant visual feedback on your form. You can also broadcast your image to your friends’ games and see their moves on your screen, adding to your sociability options. You don’t need any accessories beyond the Kinect. Playing this video game will feel like you are just having fun, but you will also be getting fit and building muscle. “Shape Up” is simple, entertaining, and addictive. The best part is, this game is rated E for Everyone, so the whole family can work out together. Before you begin melting calories away, each player can create a unique profile with their height, weight, age, and gender. This lets the game’s calculator more accurately estimate the number of calories burned during your workout.

    Good Work out while having fun

    Entertaining and motivating

    A must have for the XBox One Kinect. I used to work out regularly but work obligations and family life has thrown a wrench into my routine. Shape Up is a fun way to get the gears turning again. Bought a fitness tracker to increase motivation as well and so far so good :)

    Game doesn't work
