My 1977 Gibson L-5S truss rod cover had become brittle over the years and when I made a neck adjustment, the original truss rod cover cracked in half on the top screw hole. Thank you philaluthiertools for having the exact part I needed to replace my old broken one. I highly recommend philaluthiertools for what you might need for a hard to find part for your Gibson guitar.

But after viewing other sellers found that the cost for shipping is sometimes added to the price of the item. Never the less, received what I wanted in a very efficient time.
