The #2065 Lionel Hudson 4-6-4 is a classic that will run forever
The #2065 Lionel 4-6-4 Hudson steam locomotive is a great old classic from the 1950s. This heavy die cast locomotive is well constructed and was used in a number of sets starting in 1954. Its profile is distinctive, because it has a circular feed water heater mounted above the headlight. The engine was typically paired with a #2046W tender equipped with a whistle. However, I bought the only the engine, since I already had such a tender. This old locomotive cleaned up nicely and has few scratches, nicks, or peeling paint issues. I lubricated the locomotive before I ran it, and now it runs smoothly. There is a switch located on the top of the engine for setting the engine in forward, reverse, and neutral. The locomotive is also equipped with a smoke unit and headlight. After all these years, the engine is still powerful and, with care, will probably run another 75 years. 2065 Lionel Hudson
Except for gold paint, this vintage Lionel product is in excellent condition; runs super with whistle and smoke. Excellent addition to my vintage Lionel locomotive collection. Together with Erie RR logoed tender pulling 5 Erie Madison coaches, it is an excellent compliment to my Pennsy K4 and Pennsy Madison coaches consist. Package arrived well protectively wrapped with no damage. Very pleased with this purchase.

Lionel Steam Locomotive
This is much better than expected. I have gotten it running perfectly. Cleaning and lubrication does wonders. The coal tender had a bad wire which I repaired. I have a matching Lionel New York Central locomotive so they look great together.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Good runner and in great condition.
