If its flaky then Chrome Effect it.
I bought this to do the thumb parts of the door handles on my Renault Scenic as they had cracked and the coating was peeling off and looked a right mess, So after 45 minutes of peeling the rest of the silver sticker stuff off I masked off the area and sprayed them with this Chrome effect spray and the out come was great . After 4 very thin coats leaving 20 minute intervals in between sprays I removed the masking tape to find a quality finish that did not look out of place. I could of purchased new thumb parts but originals would of cost a fortune plus you have the chance of snapping the brackets when trying to put back on I used this spray to do a quality finish which matched up to the rest of the handle perfect with a great smooth shiny finish. I would recommend this spray for wheels as they would look well smart and the finish that it leaves is out of this world you can make some old wheels look like expensive new ones again. To be honest you could use this spray for anything that you want that Chrome look on. I am definitely going to use this brand and colour again as it is the best Chrome effect I have ever used and for the price I bought mine for off this seller it is a bargain. Great Effect Great to use Great price cant fault it.

Doesn't dry hard enough.
This paint covers really well, and is near enough to a bright chrome finish, trouble is that remains fairly soft so do not use it in applications where you will constantly handle the finished item. I tried lacquering to harden the finish but it turned the chrome to silver, so started all over again. There are plenty out there so I will try a different brand next.

THIS ONE IS THE BEST.
I had almost given up trying to get a 'chrome' finish, I had tried other brands of chrome effect paints & they just came out a silver/grey colour, after searching & reading reviews about this paint i thought i'll give it one more try. At last ! This one actually does look very much like chrome, obviously you will never get the 'real' effect, but for a spray paint this is definitely the best I've seen, I use it to paint engine parts on model cars/motorbikes that i make. I will be buying more.

DOOR LOCKS
Wanted to have chrome door lock but could not find the type of lock I had so ordered your chrome spray paint . When I used the spray paint could not belief the finish it gave far better than I ever thought it would be PERFECT THANKS

Chrome in a tin.
We bought the first two tins to try and chrome a handrail on a miniature tram, it did such a good job we bought two more cans and completely sprayed all the rails on both trams. You do have to give it some time to harden off before touching it, but the end result is great. We will use it again when the need arises. Thank you. Ferry Meadows Railway Peterborough

Very disappointing
really don’t understand the good reviews here. I know how to spray and followed the instructions to the letter. Once dry , The finish looked decent enough, I mean it was never going to be chrome, but it looked like a lightly polished alloy, That is until you touch it - run your fingers ,or a cloth over it and the finish comes off (this is after three days) and any “chrome effect” is gone leaving a finish that looks liked shining grey. I tried it a couple of times but the finish is just fleeting. Touch it or Go near it with anything and it disappears. Really disappointing product.

Chrome substitute
Although not as good as proper plating, it gives a polished look to rusted chrome parts. I use on my motorcycle restoration projects ,it is far cheaper than replaying and gives a smart enough finish, not concourse but good enough for a tidy bike to ride.

Chrome "Effect" Spray
WHAT!!!! Quite unbelievable!! Bought this to give an electronic clock casing a lease of new life. I thought it might be nice to try and make it look as if it had been machined from aluminium and purchased this paint on-line. All previous experiences limited my imagination to a shiny silver/alloy look..... I wasn't expecting the result - even after the first coat! Absolutely perfect - the result looked as if the casing had been sent for chrome plating. I can whole heartedly recommend this Spray Paint to anyone. The BIG catch is that your surface preparation MUST be perfect 100%+ because any imperfection will show up. So take the time to max out on your preparation and the results be beyond your imagination. Very good chrome spray
We build replica Spitfires (fibreglass)for a living. We needed some fake chrome or chrome paint for the landing gear. Decided to give this spray a go, and everyone was chuffed with the results. Up close it doesnt look exactly like chrome, but as you can see from the picture, from a few feet away it looks pretty authentic. For best results we sprayed a light grip coat and let it dry for 10 mins, then a full wet coat. It covers silver or grey primer very well. Once the final coat is fully dry, try not to touch it too much or polish it as it goes dull and streaky. Will definately buy more for further projects.

good paint
this is a really good paint, but use a good spray cap that you can count on the spray pattern lets it down.
