Really good photos, lightweight book
The content is interesting but doesn't supply enough, or, in some cases, accurate information. The author doesn't provide the maker of the pieces, unless it's in the case of marked Northwood pieces. Ms. McKinley also writes that she repainted or touched-up some pieces. Without its original paint, what used to be Goofus Glass simply becomes EAPG. Originality is where the value is in Goofus Glass. Some of the pattern names Ms. McKinley used are simply not the patterns on the glass, either. She calls some of the floral patterns "Dogwood". Dogwood blooms have four petals, whereas the patterns on the pieces she referred to as Dogwood have five petals. They would be apple blossoms. It's an interesting read, but not 100% accurate as to the descriptions. I gave it three stars for the photos.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
