Collection of the first 16 volumes (in 13) of the Malayan Nature Journal for 1940 through to 1962, a complete run, with 3 volumes containing 2 years worth each, though please note that between 1942 and 1947 no volumes were issued owing to the War in the far east. All bound in hardcovers, most likely done especially to hold the journals, some wear and soiling to a couple of the volumes, notably volume 1, but generally the bindings are in good order. The first volumes appear to be reprints, published following the Japanese occupation. Packed weight around 12kg. Wonderful collection of natural history essays from around the Malayan Peninsular, including Singapore, Straits Settlements, but mostly Malaya (modern day Malaysia) Most of the illustrated front covers have been bound in (names of previous owner to the upper edges and front blank - Terence Mark Oliver) bur overall in Good condition for their age.
