Although the autofocus and the Vibration control systems are not working, operating the lens manually is no problem. So far, as I continue to get used to it, the results are more than satisfactory. I expect them to get even better with a more stable platform under it. However, one day I do hope to be able to get the problems fixed, after I've saved enough money for the repairs. On the whole, I am very happy with the lens, especially as it was such a bargain, but on a parr with offers made by camera dealerships.

On the plus side it brings subjects much closer, one has to wait for auto focus to come in and it is weighty, but i am pleased with it

Excellent lens and Excellent price, I bought this lens to further my photography although I am still learning how to get good quality shots with the lens I am well over the moon, I also had no problems throughout the transaction and will be keeping KACHASHOP in mind for further transactions

Used the lens within a short time of receipt. It is every bit as good as advertised with clear sharp images and ease of control given its size.

this lens brings the distance to meet you, eye to eye, with grace and style. certainly a must for wild-life and sport. the only problem as that now I need a new camera bag to cope with the size of this lens. but I love it, so that doesn't matter.
