Über dieses Produkt
In spite of the dismal statistics and pervasive status of Black male underachievement and disengagement, there are Black males who are achieving academically and are successful in school. These males excel in academics, take honors and advanced placement courses, are placed in gifted programs, and make good grades in school. As such, this group of academically successful Black males in urban high schools is considered in the educational system as an anomaly because their performance is not the norm. The problem this book will address is how this group of academically high achieving Black males is able to succeed in school when so many others perform poorly?
