The Zelda games always have some new theme around them, in every game. In Zelda II, the game went from being an over-head-view game to being a side scroller, full of RPG elements. In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, they focus on time traveling. In this game, The Minish cap, the theme is going from a normal boy, to becoming a tiny little minish. When I saw Studio Ghibli's "Arrietty", I thought to myself "how amazing wouldn't it be if there was a game eher you were tiny, like this". And to my joy I found a game made 6 years before that wonder of a film. The feeling of playing such a game is great. Fun and sometimes frustratingly challenging puzzles, aligned with great music, an interresting world and a sweet little storyline, this game is like most Zelda games, a really good game. What really sttod out though was how like more of a kids game than any other I've played. This can be negative and positive. It doesn't quite feel like a game as serious and dark as Majora's Mask, which to some might be dissapointing, but the light hearted feel of it is also good, as it brings to mind the feeling of being a kid again, and if you want your kids, to start getting involved with one of the greatest game series ever. The bosses are challening, the world is interesting, the weapons and gadgets you use are fun and clever, so as far as gameplay goes, there's nothing to complain about. I don't want to spoil the story, but I'll say that the outcome is really exiting for the storyline of the game. A cheerful and challenging game, true to the Zelda franchise, I would recomend this to anyone who has ever played a Zelda gameVollständige Rezension lesen
Traditional Legend of Zelda game with all the old school logic puzzles and bosses, the Minish Cap follow the usual format but combines items such as Roc's cape with the addition of a less common array of items, such as the mole mitts. Enjoyable for any age (it may be tricky for younger folk, but I grew up enjoying the challenge of games like this so it should be okay), and whilst different parts may take different people varying lengths of time it will provide enjoyment alongside a bit of a thinking quest. One of the less commonly known Zelda games, it is worth getting. (:
I never owned the minish cap when I was a kid I finally got the chance to play it as an adult and I was not disappointed Plays far better than on virtual console or emulation Very happy

This is a great game, with all the magic that makes the Legend Of Zelda series such an important part of Nintendo's heritage. It's graphics can be seen as being relative to The Legend Of Zelda; The Wind Waker, with some side scrolling elements which could be a Link To The Past. My only quarrel with this game, is that i didn't get to play it sooner, as it is such a wonderful experience, to be able to complete such an adventure as this, as one of my favourite characters in nintendo's history. I would wholly recommend this game to anyone, this is probably one of the finest games ever made for a portable console, and it's a shame there are not more titles released like this, as they don't make games like they used to anymore, so this must be one of the last, finely kept original RPG series, with that 2D-Zelda feel.Vollständige Rezension lesen
